From unique places to eat in the Historic District to a wide array of Asian and Italian restaurants all around the city, there’s always more good eats to try. There are also a LOT of good bakeries in Savannah, and carbs really are my weak spot.

Savannah is a lovely city with a rich past, and its downtown area is a great place to walk around and explore. There are also a lot of good bakeries in Savannah Downtown, so if you’re looking for a place to get a delicious pastry, a slice of cake or some fresh bread, you’re in luck. Goose Feathers Café & Bakery is a locally owned and operated business in the heart of Savannah’s historic downtown district, and it’s been my favorite spot for baked goods for years. I also included it in my list of the best dessert spots in Savannah. Their goal for them is to only use the best ingredients in all of their recipes, and they offer a wide assortment of freshly made breakfast pastries, sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts. They also have a full coffee and espresso bar and a selection of wine and beer. Back in the Day Bakery

If you’re heading south to the Starland area, check out Back in the Day Bakery for something a little more unique. This local favorite is known for its inventive flavor combinations and beautiful presentation. Some of their most bestseller items include the blondies, biscuits and key lime pie. Trust me, and you won’t be disappointed.
